Stained glass exploded in popularity during the Middle Ages and has evolved extensively between the 12th century and modern times.  We offer classes for the copper foil technique to both beginner and intermediate learners.  
Students will learn how to

• prepare a pattern

• cut, grind and foil the glass

• solder

• finish and frame their art

The Beginner Class is $250 and includes six 2-hour sessions, all glass, supplies, and use of tools for the first project. Classes are offered by appointment only during regular business hours

The Intermediate Class is $220 and includes 20 hours of studio time.  Student purchases all glass and supplies.

Mosaic is the art of creating images by cutting and assembling small pieces of colored glass, stone, or other materials and has been practiced since 300 B.C.  During a mosaic class, students will learn how to

• nip the glass

• attach the glass to the project

• grout

• clean and seal the project​

The mosaic class is $95 and includes seven hours of instruction, along with grout, the use of tools and up to two pounds of mosaic glass.  Schedule a class and learn more about this ancient art.

Glass was first kiln fused over 3000 years ago by the Egyptians and this led to the development of other types of hot glass work like glass blowing.

We offer 2 hour classes where you can create one of several items, then we will fire your project in our kilns.  Your finished art will be available for pick up the following week.
